Fundora vs Mendoza Showtime Card April 8th

Brian Mendoza faced a difficult challenge in his last fight, taking on a former junior middleweight champion on short notice. However, Mendoza emerged victorious, sending Jeison Rosario into retirement. Now, Mendoza is set to face an even greater challenge in the 154-pound division. He will be challenging Sebastian Fundora for the WBC interim super welterweight title. This 12-round bout will be the main event of a “Showtime Championship Boxing” tripleheader on April 8th at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The co-feature will be a welterweight bout between Russia’s Radzhab Butaev and Lithuania’s Egidijus Kavaliauskas.
